Jenny G Gallucci was born in “Duke City” Albuquerque, New Mexico and raised an hour south in the small rural community of Belen, NM. She attributes her love of food, nature, folk medicine, herbalism, and cultural traditions to the exposure she received for the duration of her most tender years. As a young woman, her days were spent in the gardens with her grandparents, meals prepared with her maternal kin, and when illness occurred the application of folk medicine practiced for centuries in the high desert, was the remedy.
The contrasting backdrop to her rural home setting was an endless stream of boxcars “tagged” by Graffiti Writers that represented other people, places, and communities- nationwide. The largest train station in the southwest BNSF was just steps beyond her back door. It was this contrast and intimate exposure to art, poetry, politics, and transported imports and exports, that lead her to the Department of Cultural Anthropology, University of New Mexico.
Jenny holds a degree in Cultural Anthropology, UNM, Certification in Civic Leadership, Presidential Award for Volunteer and Activism with US Fund For UNICEF, Studied with the founder of the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics Robert Stevens. She is Board Certified Natural Therapeutic Specialist, Licensed Massage Therapist, Polarity Therapist, Cranial-Sacral Therapist, Certified NIA Instructor. Through travels and exploration of diverse populations, a unified and global community is shaped. At Inform Studios, she intends to deliver a new paradigm in education, community health and a space that celebrates the unsung heroes, artists, poets, writers, thinkers, entrepreneurs, healers, and game changers who seek a venue to explore and share their talents and skills. She likes to think of the studio serving a similar purpose as the BNSF box cars, providing exposure to art and expression.
